Three remarkable authors are set to launch their books here on the Central Coast, coming together for a joint event to unveil their captivating works. You will hear erotic fiction from Helen Hopcroft, verses by the wild child of the poetry scene, Paris Rosemont, and dive into the sensual world of Kris Reddaway, alongside your host, Donné Restom.
Family Fun Day Storytime!
As part of the Words on the Waves’ mission to foster literacy and a love of reading in the next generation, the festival offers a range of events for children and teens. Featuring authors and illustrators Nat Amoore, Matt Cosgrove, Eva Amores and Charmaine Ledden-Lewis, there will be a host of talks and live illustration demonstrations, free craft activities, storytime, face-painting, book launches and more!
Late Night Lit: Words on the Waves Festival Edition
Don’t miss this much-loved evening of spoken word, poetry, literary readings and other revelations hosted by Donné Restom.
For this 2024 festival edition, we will be joined by the current reigning Australian Slam champ (and Coast local) Rob Waters, human rights activist Sara Saleh (The Flirtation of Girls), and literary novelist Miranda Darling (Thunderhead), alongside an array of open mic performers.
